The statistics showed that the number of subscribers who used other electronic means increased by 11% while the number of subscribers who paid their bills in cash at the customer service centers decreased by 10%. 

His Excellency Dr. Eng. Rashid Al Leem, Chairman of SEWA explained that these figures give a clear indication of the Authority's efforts in electronic and intelligent transformation, and the Authority's keenness to take advantage of modern technological applications to provide services to the people of Sharjah according to the best international standards, in implementation of the wise vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. 

Al Leem said that the expansion of the use of electronic and smart services reflects the commitment of the commission to its social responsibility. 

His Excellency Dr. Eng. Rashid Al Leem added that the electronic and intelligent transformation in the services of the Authority contributes to the speed of completion and ensure accuracy and safety, through the complete data on the participants, and the internal team in the Authority to develop applications and services smart periodically to include all the services to its subscribers and within the plans of the Authority for smart transformation.
