His Excellency Dr. Eng Rashid Al-Leem, Chairman of SEWA, said that the Authority is working to benefit from modern technological applications to provide services to the population of Sharjah according to the best international standards, in accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. 

Eng. Eman Al Khayyal, Director of Management of Information and Communication Technology, pointed out that the statistics confirmed that the banks came first in the payment channels by 46%, while customer service centers ranked second in the channels used to pay bills and receivables by 31%, the website Authority came in third place with 20.4%, the application of smart phones in fourth place by 14.2%, cash deposit machines by 9.7%, Emirates Post at 6.2% and the exchange shops in sixth place with 3.5%. 

She pointed out that the percentage of the IT using services and communications by the employees of the Authority reached 85% and satisfaction rate of services provided by the Department of Information and Communication Technology amounted to 96%.
