This came during a ceremony held remotely by the Europe Business Assembly to celebrate the achievements of leaders from more than 54 countries around the world.

His Excellency Dr. Eng. Rashid Al Leem, Chairman of Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA), expressed his happiness for the recognition by the Europe Business Assembly, choosing him as one of the best executive heads for the year 2020, which he considered to be a tribute to the efforts of the Emirate of Sharjah in particular and the United Arab Emirates in general, acknowledging the distinguished leadership role in achieving sustainable development according to the highest international standards.

His Excellency highlighted the unlimited support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, which had a great impact in achieving exceptional excellence that contributed to greater development, and lead to the launch of many projects that preserve the environment and achieve sustainability locally and at the international level.

His Excellency added that Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority accomplished many achievements that reflects the extent of concern and commitment to its social responsibility, and its role in implementing the United Nations sustainable development goals, which supports and encourages distinguished national and individual initiatives that contribute to achieving the sustainability of natural resources and energy.
