H.E Dr. Rashid Al Leem, the Chairman of Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority (SEWA) received Mr. Yousif Qolqasi, the Business Development Manager at Teleformer, USA Company, from the state of Texas specializing in the field of smart energy solutions in the United States. H.E the Chairman discussed with Mr. Yousif Qolqasi the means of employing Teleformer’s smart solutions and technologies to develop smart grid monitoring systems and designing a comprehensive vision for the sustainability and maintenance of SEWA assets and facilities. The parties also reviewed the plans developing SEWA distributions systems and sharing studies and researches in respect of renewable energy technologies.     

H.E Dr. Rashid Al Leem emphasized that cooperation with the US Teleformer aims to exchange experiences with the company's work team to get the maximum benefit from the advantages of smart grids and the promotion and development of distribution networks in the emirate of Sharjah to reduce wastage of networks and maintain the assets as long as possible and reduce costs through the application of modern technology.

 He indicated that Teleformer is featured with the necessary technological expertise and technical capabilities to ensure the development and modernization of SEWA’s networks and installations at the latest international standards and specifications. The Chairman of SEWA briefed the delegation about the available investment opportunities and SEWA’s strategic plans to develop its facilities and installations during the next stage. He affirmed SEWA commitment to apply the state-of-the-art technologies to protect the environment against any carbon emissions arisen out as the result of its operations, 

 For his part, Joseph Colqasa praised the keenness of Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority to apply the smart control networks< He expressed thanks to the Chairman for the opportunity provided to Teleformer to initiate cooperation and strategic partnership with SEWA and provide technological solutions and smart energy and control assets in cooperation with the best international standards and technological solutions.
