SEWA honors Nooman and Fardan
Mr. Ali
Abdullah Al Nooman, the former
Director General of Sharjah
Electricity & Water Authority
expressed his thanks and
gratitude to His Highness Sheikh
Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al
Qassimi, the Member of the
Supreme Council and Ruler of
Sharjah, and His Highness Sheikh
Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan
Al Qassimi, the Crown Prince &
Deputy Ruler of Sharjah,
Chairman of SEWA Board of
Directors, for the continuous
support that they haven given
him over the last twenty five
years of his service with SEWA.
He added that their support has
led to establish a strong
entity capable of meeting the
challenges and requirements of
the present economical,
industrial and civilization boom
and establishing stat-of-the-art
infrastructure to boost the
development process. "Frankly I
would like to make clear that I
have enjoyed the favor and honor
of being supported and
appreciated by His Highness the
Ruler of Sharjah and His
Highness the Crown Prince and
Deputy of Sharjah, May Allah
bestow success on them" Mr.
Nooman said.
He also thanked
Eng. Al Waleed Khaleed bin
Khadem, the Director General of
SEWA for his outstanding efforts
and described him as one of our
young leaders who always give
priority to the interest of the
work. He wished him every
success in fulfilling the
responsibilities of his office
In his address
at the farewell party organized
by SEWA staff on his honor
along with Mr. Ahmed Nassir Al
Fardan, the former Deputy
Director General and the
Secretary General of Sharjah
Sports Council, Mr. Nooman
expressed his appreciation to
all managers, incharges and
staff of SEWA for their
hardworking. The party which
took place at Holyday
International – Sharjah, was
attended by Eng. Al Waleed
Khaleed bin Khadem, the Director
General, managers of departments
and stations, heads of sections
and a number of SEWA staff.
Recalling the
first years of his career, Mr.
Ali Nooman stated that Sharjah
Electricity & Water Department
was established when he assumed
his responsibilities in 1981. "
I was very happy when Mr. Ahmed
Nassir Al Fardan joined us as we
had common hopes and aspirations
we would like to realize."
" We prepared
an ambitious strategy in order
to achieve our targeted goals
including establishment of
modern infrastructures,
preparation of qualified
national staff who would assume
the leadership of the work in
present and future,
establishment of training and
education institutes,
preparation of ambitious budget
that meet the requirements of
SEWA's expansions programmers,
utilization of international
experts and consultants to
modernize our facilities and
services , employment of
qualified administrative and
technical staff, and maintaining
the services of the experienced
expatriate staff to achieve the
distinction and excellence,
adoption of decentralization in
our management system in order
to entrust wide authorities to
the departments, sections and
stations and the continuous
improvement of services offered
to the clients. " Mr. Nooman
Said.
He pointed out
that SEWA, with this strategy,
has managed to make tremendous
achievements at all fields of
its works in particularly in
respect of human resource
development. Today we are proud
that five of directors general
in Sharjah Emirate are
ex-employees of SEWA namely
Eng. Al Waleed Khaleed bin
Khadem, the Director General of
SEWA, Eng, Salah Tahir Al Haj,
the Director General of the
Municipality of Sharjah, Mr.
Abdul Rahman Obeid Al Shamsi
Director General of Financial
Control Department, Mr. Ahmed
Rashid Al Jarwan, Director
General of Central Purchasing
Department and Mr. Mohammed Ali
Al Nooman, Director General of
Commercial & Tourism Development
Authority.
He expressed
appreciation for outstanding
efforts made by our brother the
expatriate staff in their
hardworking in serving SEWA and
achieving its best interest. He
recommended that the services of
these experienced and qualified
staff are to be maintained in
order to continue the
development programmes of SEWA.
And improvement of services
offered to both nationals and
residents of the Emirate.
Mr. Nooman said
that he can not described his
feeling of pleasure for the
vital role played by the female
staff. He advice them to
constantly improve their skills
and enhance their capabilities
by the training. He wished
every success for all staff and
prayed to Allah in his infinite
mercy to grant SEWA the means to
continue the efforts to achieve
our hopes and aspirations under
the young leadership represented
by Eng. Al Waleed Khaleed bin
Khadem I am quietly confident
of his abilities to efficiency
fulfill the responsibilities of
his office.
On other hand Mr. Ahmed Nassir Al Fardan stated that this
honor reflects the original
values of SEWA staff, the loyal
sons of His Highness Sheikh Dr.
Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi.
He stressed that the whole honor
should be attributed to my
generous brother, Mr. Ali
Abdullah Al Nooman who taught us
all good values and led us to
very success. Addressing the
function, Mr. Ahmed Al Fardan
said that Mr. Nooman was very
enthusiastic and hardworking to
achieve the distinction and
excellence. He expressed his
confidence in abilities of the
ambitious young management to
carry on the same way of success
to develop the performance of
the work and upgrade the
services rendered by SEWA under
the wise leadership of His
Highness the Ruler of Sharjah
who always put emphasis to
provision of the necessary
infrastructures to achieve the
prosperity and welfare of the
people and as per the direction
of His Highness the Crown Prince
and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah who
gives great attention to
activities of SEWA as main
pillars of the development
process currently witnessed in
Sharjah.
Mr. Khalid Al Midfa'a, the Manager of Services Department
delivered a speech on behalf of
SEWA. He praised the
outstanding efforts made by Ali
Abdullah Al Nooman and Mr. Ahmed
Nassir Al Fardan in honestly
faithfully serving SEWA under
the directives of His Highness
the Ruler of Sharjah and His
Highness the Crown Prince and
Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.Their
efforts have been turned out
well to tremendous achievements
at all work sectors and first
of-its-kind-projects such as
Sharjah Natural Gas Distribution
Project and the use of CNG as
fuel for vehicles and other
ambitious projects.
Eng. Waleed bin Khadem presented to Mr. Nooman and Mr.
Fardan memorial registers
containing farewell statements
made by a number of SEWA staff
who expressed their feelings of
respect and appreciation towards
