  Closing of consumer account and issuance of the clearance certificate  
 

The consumer should forward the original deposit receipt or a replacement copy to the relevant branch office The supply of electricity, water and gas is to be disconnected by relevant office and final readings of meters are to be taken to make the account closing report. The consumer should pay the final dues as per the last readings. The dues may be deducted from the value at the request of the consumer, otherwise he/she will pay the dues then reimbursement of the deposit value can be arranged. Accordingly a clearance certificate will be issued for his closed account

 
   
  How much does SEWA charge extra from consumers for Online Payment  
 

You will be charged 2.5% of the Outstanding SEWA bill Amount

 
   
  Does SEWA e-pay allow partial payment of the Outstanding Bill Amount  
 

No , Partial Payment is not supported through Online Payment.

 
   
  What are the types of Credit Card Supported by SEWA epay

  Can I register with SEWA WEBSITE on-line without approaching your branch office to submit the form and the required documents, because I have already submitted the same documents when I opened my account with SEWA?  
 

Yes, Online Registeration option is available and you can register with SEWA Online account through filling an online application. For more details please visit the website Home Page.

 
   
  I could not login your website in spite the fact that I have already registered with the old website. Why?  
 

The login system has been changed to ensure the confidentiality and to obtain the required documents from the users that are needed to process the electronic services of our website.

 
   
  What type of payment methods can I use to pay my bill?  
 

1) In person at our site offices or Emirates Post offices. 2) Pay through our Partner Banks. 3) Login to your SEWA account to use MasterCard or VISA (please check Registration Page).

 
   
  When I tried to register, I get this message: Consumer Number Already Registered to another Consumer.. Would you like to continue the registration process!  
 

Please note that your old details are incomplete so you need to proceed the registration process and enter your full details

 
   
  I forgot/lost my username and password for my SEWA Online Account.  
 

You can visit Forgot Your Password page at this link http://www.sewa.gov.ae/English/mysewa/flogin.asp In case the email was not available you can forward your username and password retrieval request to webmaster@sewa.gov.ae thereafter update your email address once you have received your username and password through SMS.

 
   
  Can I change my SEWA Online Account details (mobile no., email, P.O Box, tenancy details…)?  
 

Yes you can change these details in the Edit My Profile page once you login to your account.

 
   
  I have received a bill through my email address which does not belong to my current residence?  
 

If you received a bill that does not belong to your current residence you can contact us on this email bills.unsubscribe@sewa.gov.ae in order to cancel this service.

 
   
  I moved to a new residence and I can not access my SEWA Online Account?  
 

Your registered account which belongs to your previous residence has been disabled. You have to Re-register Online with the consumer number of your new residence.

 
   
  I have submitted my registration form, however I didn not receive any details from your side regarding my SEWA Online Account?  
 

If there were missing details in your previous registration form, you wil not be receiving any details about your SEWA Online Account. In order to activate your SEWA Online Account please pre-register using the Online Registration form and fill in with your information.
